My name is Sandra Stepp and I am 40 years old. I am married and have children of my own. I have lived in the Bay Area for about 4 years and have found it to be quite an experience from where I use to live (Sacramento.) My husband stays busy with his work at Facebook and teaching at Stanford University. I decided to get into childcare due to my own experience. When I was working and needed childcare I found it to be the most stressful and grueling experience ever. First of all; it seemed nothing was ever available, the homes I did check out were dark, confined spaces, I would be given daily calendars of activities that were never done, staff was unfriendly, processed foods and my vegetarian child was constantly being served chicken nuggets! I would leave and just want to cry. I felt there was no better place for my child than to be in his own home. Nobody will ever love your child as much as you do-but I can promise you that your child will be treated and cared for in the same way as my own.
****I also have Full time help. Her name is Pratima and she has been with me for a year and a half. She has years of experience in a childcare setting. She has had her complete backgound check done and is certified in CPR and First Aid.
